Vivien Wong is the co-founder of Little Moons, Europe’s leading mochi ice cream brand. Vivien studied at the University of Reading before beginning her career at Barclays where she qualified as a chartered accountant and worked for four years. Having grown up in an entrepreneurial family, Vivien spent years helping, learning and watching her parents build a successful bakery business and it was here she got her thirst to build her own food business. Having grown up eating and loving her mum’s mochi from the bakery, while on a trip to Japan Vivien and her brother Howard Wong came up with the idea to bring mochi, with a modern twist to the UK. She left her job in the City, spent two years developing the recipe, formed a partnership with Howard and launched Little Moons in 2010 initially into food service and nationwide in retail from 2015. It is now Europe’s leading mochi ice cream brand.
