Tony has been a retailer for all his working life, since completing his degree in Retail Marketing at Manchester Met.
The first few years started out at B&Q, followed by Asda/Walmart, where he spent 18 years in roles in the UK, US and Asia, before returning the north east with Greggs, where he has been for the last 8 years. Tony has worked across a number of business areas, starting out in Supply Chain, then Technology, Strategy and key Business Change Projects. Tony is also an active supporter and Trustee of the Greggs Foundation their independent grant making charity, helping to build stronger, healthier communities where Greggs operates.
