Group eCommerce Director, Sainsbury's

Nigel became Group eCommerce Director for Sainsbury's in September 2019 in this role he is accountable for the planning, propositions and performance of digital channels across Sainsbury's Food, Argos and Tu Clothing.  Nigel has held a number of roles across the business including Digital Director for Food and Head of Operations Development for Argos where he lead the Proposition, Operating Model and Format Development, together with Operational Product Management.  During his six years with the organisation Nigel has been at the forefront of large digital change initiatives including the development and expansion of SmartShop across Sainsbury's Supermarkets, overhauling Argos' Customer fulfilment capability, through its Hub & Spoke and FastTrack Delivery & Collection initiatives, and the development and delivery of the Store in Store and Collection Point programmes across the Sainsbury's Argos business. Before joining Sainsbury's, Nigel held a number of digital and multi-channel roles at Tesco.
