Matthew Dean is an experienced e-commerce and digital expert, who joined Hugo Boss as the VP of Global Ecommerce in 2018.
He is responsible for Hugo Boss' global online business, incorporating both customised and off-the-shelf solutions focused on international growth. In 2019, the Online channel for Hugo Boss grew over 50% from 2018.
Matthew has worked over 20 years in Ecommerce selling everything from PCs, Apparel, Tools and Grocery. He knows that at times when goods are on all channels must be available, success depends not just on attracting the right digital talent – but even more so on the performance of an entire team.
He also worked for Amazon for 8 ½ years in Seattle and Germany and last held the role European Group Category Leader for Apparel and Luggage. He was selected as a Bar Raiser interviewer for executive role-hiring within the company and lead the MBA recruiting efforts for Amazon Germany.
