Karen Orton strives to challenge, provoke, and change lives. Having led global business teams and functions, Karen was fascinated by cultures and business, with a huge love for retail thrown in.
After an award-winning corporate career in talent acquisition (she was lucky to have worked with some of the most exceptional team and leaders) Karen decided it was time to use her experience, expertise, and passion for equity in the workplace, to do more, and so Scoutess Consultancy was born.
Having worked with more than 1000 clients, Karen knew the workplace was not equal, placing more than 5000 candidates, with more than 70% being from diverse backgrounds, she also knew it was not equitable.
Today her purpose is clear: using lived inclusion to transform thinking, actions, and outcomes.
