David Coombs is Head of Strategic Services at Cheil UK where he leads the development of strategy for all the agency’s clients, helping to create successful and award-winning off-to-online campaigns. His current role encompasses strategy, planning, data, retail and social as well as over-seeing Cheil UK’s creative technology and data output. Before joining Cheil, David was Executive Planning Director at AKQA where he was group strategy lead for a portfolio of FMCG and retail clients, and Digital Strategy Director for OMD. David has spoken at a number of industry events including Festival of Marketing, ad:tech and MAD//Fest and is a regular contributor to industry and national press.
