A former management consultant, with no background in retail, Ben was one of the first to bring the DTC model to the UK, launching the online menswear brand Spoke in 2014.

Ben was quick to realise that the DTC model could solve the biggest challenge in menswear; fit. Focused on legwear, a particular pain point for men, Spoke offers over 200 size variants of trousers, something the high street with shared stock pools can’t compete with.

Today Spoke has a team of over 40, has expanded into the US and has grown revenues sixfold in the last three years.
