As digital remains a strategic imperative for retail supply chains, winning consumer-focused businesses are increasingly investing in AI and robotics in order to drive efficiencies and empower colleagues in their supply chains. Gartner research stated that through 2023, demand for robotic automation will quadruple to help enforce social distancing in warehouses, and by 2025, more than 50% of supply chain organizations will have a technology leadership role reporting directly to the CSCO.
