08 Oct 2020
Main Stage

We know that consumers are increasingly environmentally conscious, and there is evidence to suggest these attitudes are starting to influence purchasing decisions. – which makes Jo Fairley way ahead of her time. Having started out her entrepreneurial journey in 1991, she co-founded Green & Black’s Chocolate with a desire to “change the world one square of chocolate at a time”. Sales are now approaching a £100 million a year, but it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. In this keynote, Jo will share insight into how Green & Black’s went from her Portobello Road bedroom to being a global ethical brand, and how having a deeply embedded purpose can inspire and sustain retail growth and innovation.
