Paul is responsible for leading all customer-facing staff as well as the strategic direction of the branch and relationship management network. His appointment follows more than 20 years' experience in retail, business and commercial banking for some of the world's largest financial services businesses, including Barclays and Capital One.
With a strong and continuing belief in the value of people – supported by innovative technology – to deliver a compelling outcome for every person that interacts with the bank, he has been tasked with reinvigorating the role and experience of the high-street branch, as well as deepening the role relationship managers have to play in supporting their customers' wider needs. This includes the launch of B Works - powered by Yorkshire Bank - on Manchester's Market Street where customers can bank as well as learn new skills and work alongside fellow businesses free of charge.
